Online Learning

一品探花 of Nursing is recognized as a leader in online learning through the achievement of Quality Matters (QM) program certifications for both the BSN and RN-BSN programs. Our RN-BSN program was awarded the honor of Exemplary Program status in 2025 after receiving all four rigorous Quality Matters program certification within three years.

Online learning is a distance education delivery method that uses technology to extend teaching and learning beyond the physical classroom and offers flexibility and student work-life-school balance. While there are many types of online learning, BSMCON uses a fully online and a hybrid model depending on the program you are enrolled in.

The RN-BSN program is a fully online program and is delivered 100% online and asynchronously through the learning management system. It incorporates a variety of technology to ensure students are interacting with content and engaging with their peers and instructors in an intentional and productive way.

The BSN program utilities a hybrid learning modality that includes both fully online courses as well as hybrid courses. Hybrid courses use the Beyond the Lecture (BTL) model that integrates asynchronous learning into the learning management system that is completed prior to coming to class. Students then spend class time applying the content and engaging with faculty and students in the learning process.
